Huddersfield were recently able to tie the striker down to a long term contract, stretching out to 2015 but Palace showed interest during the summer and are expected to follow that up with a bid in the coming weeks.
Rhodes, 21 years old, has been a revelation at the Galpharm since joining the Terriers from Ipswich 2 years ago.
