Chippenham boss Adie Mings is struggling to control a mini injury crisis that has already seen Alan Griffin, Shaun Lamb, Greg Tindle, Scott Lye and Kye Holly miss games this season.
Added to the suspension of Alex Kite, Mings is down to the bare bones of his squad and is hoping his luck will change in the coming weeks, "It's been very, very disjointed but the lads that have come in have shown a fantastic attitude, it's a new team and a new blend and hopefully we can kick on and get some of the other players back along the way."
The injuries have already seen one player leave the club permanently, Dan King has moved to Calne Town after being unhappy at being played out of position, "He said that he didn't want to play left back and that they'd offered him more money to go back to Calne. We didn't sign him to play there but because we had a few injuries, we were hoping he could help us out in that position, it's not what he wanted to do so we wish him all the best because he's been great to have around," Mings said.
