CARLISLE UNITED: MIDDLESBROUGH'S MILLER MOVES

Carlisle have snapped up former Hearts and Middlesbrough striker Lee Miller on a two year deal.

28 year old Miller was growing frustrated at the lack of first team action at Middlesbrough and sees Carlisle as a team on the up, "From speaking to the manager I could tell that this is a club that wants to move forward, and I'd love to be part of that."

Miller has had previous stints with Bristol City, Aberdeen, Notts County and Scunthorpe United, but it was his three year spell with Falkirk that was the most successful, on a personal level. He scored 27 goals in 61 appearances for the Scottish First Division club sealing a £300,000 move to Bristol City in 2003.
