Cambridge United's Keiran Murtagh has been called up to represent Antigua & Barbuda in their World Cup qualifying games.
The 22 year old will be hoping to take part in the countries four fixtures spread over October and November.
Cambridge United manager Jez George said about the midfielder's call up, "It's a great honour for Keiran and it's something he wants to do, so we'll totally support him on that. It's a little bit frustrating from our perspective because our priority at the moment is to just get him fit and playing for us. But we respect the fact he wants to play for his country."
Murtagh signed for United in the summer and is yet to make an appearance in the league.
