BURNLEY: 'BRAINIEST' FOOTBALLER CHARGED

Clarke Carlisle, known as 'Britain's brainiest footballer' has been charged with drink driving.

The Burnley defender, currently on loan at Preston North End denied the charge at Bury Magistrates' Court and is due to stand trial in October.
