BRAINTREE TOWN: FORMER LEEDS PLAYER SIGNS ON

Blue Square Premier newcomers, Braintree Town have added former Leeds United, Port Vale, Oldham Athletic and Southend United striker, Leon Constantine to their ranks.

The 33 year old forward played a supporting role in Town's 5–0 demolition of Grimsby Town on Tuesday evening and manager Alan Devonshire will be hoping his experience rubs off on the rest of his squad, "I need four strikers and Leon will bring us a lot of experience," he said.

"He has played at a high level and scored goals for York in the conference last season. Sean Marks was the oldest player in our starting line up last Saturday at the age of 26 and Leon will give us extra experience." Devonshire added.
