BIRMINGHAM CITY: NO BID FOR DANN

In the wake of reported interest from Arsenal, Birmingham boss Chris Houghton has revealed that no bids have been received for defender Scott Dann. However, with two weeks remaining until the end of the transfer window, City seem resigned to losing the 24 year old.

"We are very conscious of the interest and speculation around Scott because he is a very, very good player, but until something happens he's very much a Birmingham City player and will remain so," Houghton said.

"There have been lots of enquiries, lots of interest in him, which is expected because he is a very good player, but no official bids yet."
