David Nugent says his recent run of form is in no small part down to the man management of Sven Goran Eriksson.
Nugent moved to Leicester City in the summer after his Portsmouth contract expired, and has scored three goals in six appearances so far this season. He admits he struggled for form at Pompey and let his head drop, but the move to the Foxes, under the tutelage of Eriksson, has boosted his confidence tenfold.
"I didn't feel wanted at Portsmouth until my last season there when I played every game. It gives you confidence when you play every game and I think I have done well."
"I think that is how I got my move to Leicester. With all the experience the gaffer has, for him to say that is really pleasing. Hopefully, I can repay him."
