AFC WIMBLEDON: MCNAUGHTON EXTENDS LOAN

West Ham youngster Callum McNaughton has extended his spell with League Two side AFC Wimbledon for a further month.

The 19 year old has made six appearances for the Dons so far this season and earned praise from manager Terry Brown for his debut against Aldershot last month.

"I thought the young boy won a great deal of headers and we had not been doing that lately. I thought he did well considering the circumstances. He acquitted himself very well and I was pleased with him."

The young defender however is not resting on his laurels and knows there is room for improvement, "You have always got to prove yourself. I have got to work as hard as I can here and earn the right to play in the starting eleven. Everyone has made me feel welcome here, they are a nice bunch of lads with a very good manager."
