TRANMERE ROVERS: EVERTON YOUNGSTER SIGNS

Tranmere Rovers have moved quickly to replace injured Newcastle loanee Ryan Donaldson, by signing Jose Baxter on a short term deal.

Everton have allowed the youngster to move on a four week loan, and Tranmere boss Les Parry thinks they have acquired a real gem.

"I'm delighted to be able to bring Jose to the club. We watch Everton reserves a lot and he's tailor made for that role just behind the striker. He sees a pass, he can score a goal and he has great awareness."

Baxter has made a handful of senior appearances for the Toffees since joining the club as a youngster.
