MACCLESFIELD TOWN: DONNELLY HEADS TO LEAGUE TWO

Fleetwood Town striker George Donnelly has been allowed to leave the Blue Square Premier side to join Macclesfield Town on loan.

The 23 year old had featured in five games for Fleetwood this season but the club have now agreed for him to move to the League Two side.

Speaking after his move was confirmed the striker said, "I'm delighted to be back in the Football League. It's a great opportunity for me to prove myself again at this level and hopefully do well here."

Donnelly lists Luton Town, Stockport County and Plymouth amongst his previous clubs and was a record for signing for Fleetwood Town in January this year.
