DUMBARTON: NAME CHANGE FOR SONS?

The current stadium sponsor of Dumbarton's ground, Strathclyde Homes Limited, have been placed into receivership prompting the Scottish Second Division club to look for a new backer.

The company have sponsored the West Dunbartonshire club's stadium for eleven years and are now searching for a new company to take hold of the reigns after requesting a termination of their deal with Strathclyde Homes.

"We have formally written to the receiver handling Strathclyde Homes' affairs to terminate the existing agreement in line with the terms of the contract. On receipt of their confirmation we will actively seek a new stadium sponsor." Chief executive Gilbert Lawrie said.
