CAMBRIDGE UNITED: CLARE CONTRACT CANCELLED

Cambridge United and Daryl Clare have come to a mutual agreement that will see the striker's contract with the club terminated.

The 33 year old has been with the Us since the summer of 2010. He signed a two year contract with the Blue Square Premier side for a fee of around £10,000 from Gateshead.

Despite enjoying a rich vein of goalscoring form for clubs such as Boston United, Rushden & Diamonds, Grimsby Town, Chester City and Crawley Town, Clare managed just one goal for the Us.
