AFC BOURNEMOUTH: ZUBAR AGREES CHERRIES DEAL

Stephane Zubar has agreed a deal with League One side Bournemouth until the end of the season.

The 24 year old, most recently with Plymouth Argyle before requesting the cancellation of his contract last month, had been on trial with the Cherries for a few weeks before manager Lee Bradbury decided to make the move permanent.

"It's a really good capture for the club. Zubar is athletic, strong and a quick defender and he is very good at that. He was one of the outstanding players in the Plymouth team last season and he is versatile too, and can play as a right back or a centre half. He was a handfull against us and it's good to have him on board." Bradbury said.

Zubar's contract has the option for a further year should all parties agree at the end of the 2011/12 season.
