The 30 year old's current deal expires at the end of this season and he says the doubts surrounding his future are having an effect on his performances.
"It has been a bit difficult to concentrate on the football with the contract issue hanging over me. At the moment nothing is happening. I want to stay here but I just want what I think I deserve."
Taylor Fletcher has featured in six of Blackpool's games this season, scoring twice. He notched six goals for the club as they failed in their efforts to stay in the Premier League last season.
