LEEDS UNITED: WHITES SIGN AMERICAN
Leeds United have snapped up United States international Robbie Rogers.
The 24 year old, most recently with MLS side Columbus Crew, had been on trial with Elland Road and looks to have impressed manager Simon Grayson enough to be handed a permanent contract.
Speaking about the move Grayson said, "As soon as the work permit is complete he will be an immediate part of our plans and have an opportunity with the first team."
Rogers started his professional career at Dutch side Heerenveen but struggled to make any impact on the senior squad. He signed for Columbus Crew in 2007 and went on to make over 100 appearances for the Ohio based club.
