FAN'S VIEW: CIRENCESTER TOWN SEASON PREVIEW

Mark, a Cirencester Town fan, gave us his view on the club's chances this season.

HOW DID YOU FEEL THE 14/15 SEASON WENT FOR YOUR TEAM?

2014-15 was a good season for Cirencester Town. It was our promotion year and we had hoped to be competitive and be stay up. We were in the mix for at least a play off place for most of the season. We also won the County Cup for the first time so all in all a good season.

HAVE YOU BEEN IMPRESSED WITH THE ADDITIONS MADE DURING THE SUMMER BREAK?

We lost a couple of players from last season but have replaced them with an experienced goal scorer and a very good young winger on loan from a more senior local club. We are hopeful they will prove to be a hit.

ARE THERE ANY AREAS YOU FEEL STILL NEED STRENGTHENING?

Our squad is not the largest but is strong in all areas.

ARE THERE ANY FIXTURES THAT YOU'RE PARTICULARLY LOOKING FORWARD TO?

We have a home bank holiday fixture against Merthyr Town. They are always good matches and we have a good rapport with the opposition fans.

WHICH OPPOSITION TEAM DO YOU HAVE HIGH HOPES FOR THIS SEASON?

I try not to worry too much about our opposition.

WHICH PLAYERS AMONG YOUR SQUAD SHOULD WE BE LOOKING OUT FOR THIS TERM?

Aidan Bennett (Striker) and Elis Dunton (Defender) are two local boys who have played at Cirencester since they were 5 and are both very committed and skilful players.

WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'LL END UP AT THE END OF THE SEASON?

We are hoping to consolidate what we started last season and are looking to finish in the top 10.
