YEOVIL TOWN: JOHNSON RETURNS

Gary Johnson was today unveiled as the new manager at Yeovil Town after a six year absence.

Speaking at a press conference earlier he said, "It definitely feels like coming home, that's for sure."

Johnson left the Glovers in 2005 to manage Bristol City but was most recently with League Two side Northampton Town. His return to Yeovil means an end to Terry Skiverton's reign as boss, something the former Glovers defender regrets.

"It was a difficult decision. But to be fair it felt like a natural fit. When I first spoke to the chairman it stung a bit and it would have been easy for me to walk away but there's just something about this football club."

"I've been here for twelve years and for some reason I just can't get away," Skiverton continued.
