The 31 year old had been on loan with the Hornets since October, making thirteen appearances for the club.
Manager Sean Dyche discussed the transfer on the club's official website, "It's a tribute to this club, to the environment that is present around the place that a player is able to settle in straight away."
"We're very pleased and feel fortunate to have found a way to have made this deal happen within the financial constraints that exist at this club."
Nosworthy has also turned out for Gillingham and Sheffield United in the past.
