SWINDON TOWN FC: DI CANIO CHARGED

Swindon Town boss Paolo Di Canio has been handed a charge of misconduct by the Football Association for his actions in the clash with Northampton Town in December.

The Italian ran onto the pitch following a late strike in the game which resulted in a 2-1 victory for the Robins.

A statement from the FA continued, "Di Canio has until 4pm on January 9 to respond to the charge."
