Following the departure of striker Byron Harrison today, Stevenage have moved quickly to plug a gap in the striking department with the addition of Arsenal youngster Luke Freeman.
The 19 year old, a 2008 signing for the Gunners from Gillingham, has agreed a contract until the summer of 2014.
Speaking to 'Boro's official website Freeman said, "It's all about getting a career for yourself so it's good that I've been taught by one of the best [Arsenal], I've not got to move on and keep making myself better."
Freeman signed for Arsenal from Gillingham in a £200,000 deal but failed to make any impression on the senior squad.
