The 20 year old had been attracting interest from a series of League clubs in recent weeks having notched nineteen goals in 29 appearances for the Blue Square North side.
Speaking to his new side's official website the youngster couldn't hide his joy at the move into league football, "I feel I'm ready for the step up to League One. I've just got to train hard, get to know my bearings and take it from there."
"I know the manager [Alan Knill] has been watching me for a few games and it's led from that to me signing, so it's all exciting."
Jennings progressed through the youth ranks at Stalybridge Celtic, scoring 51 goals in a total of 123 appearances for the club.
