RANGERS: BENDIKSEN REJECTS CONTRACT OFFER

Rangers midfielder Thomas Bendiksen has rejected the offer of a new contract at the Scottish Premier League side, instead agreeing a deal with Norwegian side Tromso.

The 22 year old spent four years with Rangers but struggled to hold down a place in the starting lineup.

In an interview with Tromso's official website he revealed he had turned down the chance to remain in Scotland, "I had a very good contract offer from Rangers but I refused it."
