Hull City have today confirmed that Nick Barmby will be handed the reigns at the club on a permanent basis after an impressive run of form as caretaker manager.
Barmby was asked to steer the ship following the departure of Nigel Pearson to Leicester City in November, winning five out of the ten league games in that period.
Speaking to the club's official website he expressed his delight at the decision, "I have enjoyed my spell in charge of the club so far and I am excited about continuing to work with a talented group of players."
