The 27 year old has made eight appearances for the Shots this season since signing a one year contract in the summer.
Manager Dean Holdsworth explained his decision to release the former Stoke City man, "We have agreed to release Anthony so he can pursue first team football elsewhere."
"He has been a 100% professional and a good lad to have in the dressing room and I wish him all the best."
