BRENTFORD FC: BEES OFFER SAUNDERS IMPROVED DEAL

League One side Brentford have offered their top scorer Sam Saunders a new contract.

The 28 year old has bagged six goals for the Bees this season and manager Uwe Rosler is aware that with the striker's current deal set to expire in the summer, an improved offer is required to keep Saunders at Griffin Park.

"We've made Sam an improved contract offer and are waiting for him to come back to us. The talks we've had were positive and we've made what we think is a good offer to him."

Saunders signed for Brentford from Dagenham & Redbridge in 2009.
