Workington captain David Hewson has been handed an award for making 200 appearances for the club.
The Reds' manager Darren Edmondson spoke about the recognition given to his skipper, "Injuries have stopped David reaching this landmark sooner but the way he's dealt with adversity is inspiring."
"To spend so much time on the sidelines and to come back stronger for it shows what kind of man David is and I hope he plays another 200 games for the club because he's the leader of this team."
Hewson has been with Workington for nine seasons, scoring fourteen goals.
