The midfielder has featured on five occasions for the Pilgrims this season and will now remain at Home Park until November 5th.
"Jamie's attitude since he's been here has been great and he's worked hard every day. He is a good person to have around the place and hopefully he can push for a position in the starting line up." Argyle caretaker boss Carl Fletcher said.
