PETERBOROUGH FC: CONTRACT OFFER FOR TAYLOR

Peterborough striker Paul Taylor has been offered a new contract by Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony.

The 24 year old moved to London Road in February on an eighteen month deal but the club are now keen to tie him down to a longer contract.

Speaking to BBC Cambridgeshire MacAnthony said, "We exercised an option on his contract recently. I have personally offered Paul a very good contract for four years. We think it will give him a chance to grow."

Taylor moved to Peterborough on a free transfer after his contract with Belgium Pro League side Anderlecht had expired. He has scored four goals in five starts for the Championship side this season.
