The 21 year old has struggled to feature consistently in the Vics' side this season and Preece said he couldn't stand in the player's way.
"Fitz needs to play matches. He's not had much of an opportunity to play so far this season, mainly due to the form of others and so I felt it best that he gets games under his belt elsewhere."
