Neath say their financial future is secure despite struggling to pay their players' wages this month.
The club have admitted there has been recent problems including delayed wages and partial payments but say the long term future of the club is not in doubt.
A spokesperson at the club said, "Long term the club is on a sound financial footing with good sponsors and good partners who are fully behind the club. There have been some issues this month which have resulted in payments coming into the club late and that has delayed the payment of salaries, not totally but partially."
This announcement from the club comes soon after the departure of goalkeeper Lee Kendall and rumours over the future of experienced striker Lee Trundle.
