Horsham have terminated the contract of their manager Justin Luchford by mutual consent.
The news comes hot on the heels of confirmation that his younger brother Dane had also left the Ryman Premier side. A statement on the club's official website read, "Following extensive discussions between first team manager Justin Luchford and the club over the last couple of days, it has been mutually agreed for the two parties to part company."
Horsham are currently in 21st position in the division and it is understood Luchford himself made the decision to leave the club in the hope of their fortune's improving sooner rather than later.
A statement from the outgoing boss said, "After only a few months it has become clear to me that I am unable to carry out my duties on the football side in the way I would like. There are various reasons for this but I feel that if I am unable to do my job in the way I feel it should be done then it is time to move on in the interests of both parties."
Hugo Langton will take charge of the club until a permanent successor is appointed with assistance from Richard Langley.
