The former first team manager and general manager at the IFA Premiership side took the reigns last week. In an interview with the club's official website he said, "When I was asked to be Chairman I couldn't possibly have said no, I couldn't turn my back on many friends at the club, and on a club I love so dearly.
Former Chairman Jarlath Faloon has also been named as the new Vice Chairman.
