Coventry City say they are not interested in taking Wolves midfielder Michael Kightly on loan.
The 25 year old has been made available for loan by the Premier League side as he fights to gain back his match fitness following a series of injuries. He was set to join Championship side Nottingham Forest but the deal collapsed after the resignation of Steve McClaren.
The Sky Blues chairman Ken Dulieu spoke last week of the need for new players to refresh a squad who find themselves in 22nd position in the division.
"We have been looking for players for several weeks but they have to fit into our style of play and enhance the quality of the team."
