Coleraine midfielder Peter Spratt has left the IFA Premiership side saying he had lost his desire for the game.
Manager Oran Kearney confirmed the news via the club's official website and added, "Peter spoke to me a couple of weeks ago and told me he'd lost his motivation to train and to compete for his place in the team."
"It wasn't about him wanting to move elsewhere because with the transfer window in place, he couldn't join anyone else until January anyway. I had hoped he would reconsider his decision, perhaps realise he'd been a little hasty and perhaps give it to January, but that hasn't been the case."
The 24 year old signed for the club in the summer for a second spell after spending two years at The Showgrounds from 2004.
