Chelmsford City have confirmed the bad news that their midfielder Anthony Cook could miss the remainder of the season after suffering a ruptured cruciate ligament.
Cook had only recently recovered from an injury that kept him out of action for nine months and City boss Glenn Pennyfather was quick to express his disappointment for the player.
"It's unvelievable bad luck to receive the same injury twice as he worked so hard to get back to fitness. But Cooky's an upbeat character and we'll keep him involved in everything we do as a squad."
