Carlisle boss Greg Abbott thinks his side are a perfect place for Premier League stars of the future to hone their skills.
Speaking after taking Manchester City's Jeremy Helan on loan, Abbott said the club have a growing reputation of helping to further the development of talented youngsters.
"A lot of people like what we're doing and things don't go unnoticed in football. Clubs want to send players to places where they're going to get looked after and developed in the right way. Big clubs know all about us and it's fantastic when they get in touch with us and ask if we would consider taking one of their players."
Abbott currently has three players on loan from Premier League clubs, including Jeremy Helan. James Tavernier linked up with the Cumbrians from near neighbours Newcastle United and Liam Noble has made the short trip from Sunderland.
