The 22 year old had been on trial with the Brewers and has done enough to impress boss Paul Peschisolido. He has agreed a three month deal with the club and is says he is keen to break into the first team.
"I've had the opportunity to score during my trial which is important. I hope to play with the team and score again. The players here at Burton Albion are very good and it's going to be difficult. I'm looking for my chance to play with them which will be good for my confidence."
Gurrieri was most recently on the books of Uruguayan side Sud America.
