Bristol City's assistant boss Steve Wigley says he will not be applying for the vacant managerial position at Ashton Gate following the departure of Keith Millen.
Wigley has returned from his post as England Under 21 coach to oversee training of the Robins players ahead of their next game with Peterborough after the international break, but is not interested in taking the top job.
"I was part of the management team with Keith and I see my future as being the next few days and then we'll see if someone is appointed then. I won't be applying for the job. I see my future over the next few days and then we'll see what happens."
Wigley was appointed assistant manager by Millen last summer.
