BRISTOL CITY FC: CITY SHORTLIST CUT TO TWO

Bristol City are understood to have cut their managerial shortlist down from five to two, that's according to the Bristol Evening Post.

Following the departure of Keith Millen last week chairman Colin Sexstone has been conducting a series of interviews of potential candidates to take the helm at Ashton Gate.

The five men believed to have been interviewed for the position were; former Rotherham United manager Mark Robins, Cardiff City's former boss Dave Jones, recent Doncaster Rovers outcast Sean O'Driscoll, current St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes and former Hibernian boss John Hughes.

The odds on favourite for the post is Mark Robins, a free agent after resigning from Championship side Barnsley in the summer.

"I'm certainly interested in getting back into work and I'd consider any good job that becomes available" Robins said.
