Former Birmingham City midfielder Darren Carter is training with Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion as he looks to get back into the game.
The 27 year old was released by Preston North End in the summer and Seagulls boss Gus Poyet has now given him a chance to regain his match fitness, after a move to Birmingham City failed to materialise.
In a post on his Twitter account Carter said, "Down in Brighton tweeps training till Friday. No decision reached regarding Blues [Birmingham City], just accepting every opportunity I'm given at the moment."
