BRENTFORD FC: CLARKSON NOT SURE OF FUTURE

Brentford's on loan striker David Clarkson is poised to sign an extension from his parent club Bristol City but admits he may have to wait until a new boss is appointed at Ashton Gate.

The 26 year old's one month loan deal expires this week but with the managerial post vacant at Bristol City he is currently unsure of where his future lies.

"I've enjoyed my time at Brentford and played a few games which has given me confidence. I feel like I'm in between clubs at the moment because I don't know what's going on at Bristol City. If Brentford want to extend my loan it's something I will have to look at because I'm getting games here."

Clarkson has made three appearances for the Bees, scoring once.
