YORK CITY FC: MINSTERMEN'S LOAN EXTENDED

York City have had a boost of news came through that the Football Stadia Improvement Fund have agreed to extend the terms of their loan.

The initial terms of the loan deal required York to pay back the £2 million payment by September 2012 but the FSIF have now extended that deadline by a further year.

In a statement the FSIF explained the decision, "The directors, in reaffirming the FSIF's support to York City Football Club and the community stadium project, would be prepared to alter the current deed of variation, to extend the date by a further year, to September 30, 2013."
