Swindon Town boss Paolo Di Canio has hit back at remarks made by Crawley Town's Steve Evans during the week.
In an interview with a local newspaper Evans branded the current set up at Swindon Town, "the Di Canio circus", and questioned the Robins' manager's methods following high profile clashes between staff and players at the County Ground.
Di Canio has hit back in trademark fiery fashion, "I've played in front of mafia people. People like him [Evans] make me laugh, I laugh in the face of them. I laughed in the face of 70,000 Man Utd fans when I scored, you would imagine what it would be like if I was worried by the words of him who I've never heard of before."
The two sides meet in the league tomorrow evening.
