STRANRAER FC: DEVINE LEAVES ON LOAN

Stranraer defender Stewart Devine has left the club on loan to gain match fitness following a groin injury.

The 28 year old signed for the Scottish Third Division side in the summer but has featured only twice for the Blues due to the injury.

Speaking prior to his move to Bo'ness United, Stranraer boss Keith Knox said he was looking forward to having the experienced full back available for first team selection.

"Stewart worked really hard in pre-season however, he probably over did it after a few months out. He will be back in September and I am looking forward to having him in the team, as he showed in the one and half games he played for us that his experience will be useful to us."

Devine made over 190 appearances for Stirling Albion before moving to the Blues in July.
