The former Rushden & Diamonds manager was appointed by the club last week and Bignot is confident his presence will benefit the lowly Blue Square North side.
"At the moment, we need something else, someone to watch games, look out for players and having the contacts and Roger fits the bill perfectly.You need the right people behind you and I think we tick all the boxes."
