Speaking after his side drew 1-1 with his former employers on Monday evening, Jose Semedo insisted he was happy to have traded London for Yorkshire in the summer.
The 26 year old midfielder joined Sheffield Wednesday in the close season on a free transfer from Charlton Athletic, and the sides are experiencing differing fortunes in the early stages of the new season.
The Addicks currently sit in third position after an unbeaten start to 2011 whereas the Hillsborough side have failed to live up to pre season expectations, they find themselves struggling for consistency.
In an interview with Sheffield Wednesday's official website Semedo said, "I had a great time at Charlton, but I have joined another fantastic club. There are some great people here and I'm very happy at Sheffield Wednesday."
