PARTICK THISTLE: HUTTON HOPES TO IMPRESS

Rangers youngster Kyle Hutton, currently on loan at Partick Thistle, hopes his short spell at the Firhill Stadium will aid his cause of ultimately featuring on regular basis for the Gers first team.

The 20 year old, who saw a recent move to League One side Sheffield United fall through following an error with paperwork during the transfer window, is out to impress not only his current manager at Partick but Ally McCoist at Ibrox aswell.

"It is a great opportunity for me to play some game sand keep improving as a player. My goal at the start of the season was to try and break into the first team at Rangers and hold down a regular place but that didn't happen. It is important that I get games rather than just training all the time. Being sent out on loan certainly isn't a bad thing."

"At my age, I need to be playing regularly and I spoke to the manager and he told me to go out and do my best and then we will see how things go when I go back to Rangers."

"All I can do is try and impress while I am at Thistle and hopefully the manager gives me a chance when I go back to Rangers."

Hutton has made one start for the Jags since joining on loan at the beginning of September.
