Kelvin Thomas, chairman of League Two side Oxford United does not expect striker James Constable to leave the club during the loan window.
Constable had been the subject of an approach by League One's Bournemouth during the summer transfer window but that was rebuffed by the 26 year old. There are now however rumours circulating that a loan deal could be agreed between the two clubs.
"The talk of him going out on loan is way off the mark, unless something unbelievable came in. He certainly won't be going out on loan to Bournemouth any time soon." Thomas said in an interview with the clubs official website.
Bournemouth are struggling for goals at present, they currently reside in 21st position in League One and have scored only five goals all season, conceding twelve.
