Clough lead his Derby County side to four wins and one loss during August, Brighton boss Poyet oversaw a haul of 13 points from a possible 15 in the opening five fixtures of the new season. Nigel Adkins' Southampton had a similar return, losing just one game out of the first five matches. Fourth placed Middlesbrough, managed by Tony Mowbray have also had a great start to the new Championship season, they are unbeaten after five games.
